JAMES & JAMY WYATT

In 1995, James created Venture Studios, later re-branding in 2015 as 1st Street Studios with Jamy and opening their studio in historic downtown Paris.
Working in the media industry for more than 40-years, James started on-air at a local radio station when he was 15-years old. After graduating high school, he went on to earn his Bachelor in Broadcasting and Bachelor in Counseling Phycology while still working in radio.
Not one to stick to one medium, James has been the host of several award-winning radio programs, worked as a TV presenter for local news channel, successfully founded and launched several radio and TV stations, newspapers and magazines, and worked with many high-profile politicians and business owners.
Prior to working in the radio industry and launching 1st Street Media with James, Jamy worked as a nurse in northeast Texas while raising their children Candra, Victoria and Harrison.

Chad was born and raised in Paris, Texas, and graduated from North Lamar High School in 2000. A long-time local radio host, Chad is the Operations Manager at 1st Street Media , taking care of day-to-day operations across all of our radio stations. Additionally, he oversees our engineering department and agency clients.
Katie is an international award-winning journalist, news director, and businesswoman. In 2010, she moved to the United States from Australia to further her career as a journalist and quickly made a name for herself in the rodeo and western industry. In 2011/2012 and 2013, she was named APRA Australian Media Person of the Year and has been nominated multiple times for On-Air Personality of the Year with the TRRMA since getting behind the microphone on KFYN 104.3FM The River in 2013. In 2021, she was voted ‘Best Radio DJ’ in the Paris News Reader’s Choice Awards and has quickly become known as Paris’ trusted news reporter.
Katie is a “self-taught” journalist and while she has no formal training, she has proven herself as one of the best in the industry. Throughout her career, Katie has hosted TV shows for RFD-TV, moderated and hosted political debates, filmed many pilots, and been the editor of national magazines all while making a name for herself in Texas as the “Aussie Radio DJ”.
In 2019, together with James and Jamy, Katie built and started myparistexas.com and now runs the website alone while also covering news on all 1st Street Media radio stations. Additionally, Katie works closely with James on political campaigns and managing client marketing accounts.
